¡Hola!

Hello Parents and Caregivers,

My name is Yolanda Palmeri and I would like to welcome you to this school year 2023-24. I am new to MRHS but I have been a High School Spanish Teacher in New Jersey for the passed 10 years. I have taught levels 1 through 4 Honors and I am currently teaching levels 1 and 2 at MRHS. 

I’d like to tell you a little bit about myself. I am a heritage speaker of the Spanish Language as I am the youngest of five siblings born to Dominican parents. I learned to speak Spanish and English simultaneously due to the fact that my siblings spoke English and my parents spoke Spanish to me. After my family moved away to Florida I found myself longing to speak more Spanish in order to retain my fluency in the language. This led me to William Paterson University where I majored in K-12 Education and minored in Spanish Literature.

I am excited to be here to partner with all of you in helping your children to thrive.
