Congratulations to Ms. Alyssa Beres for being honored as the MRHS Teacher of the Year for 2019-2020! As a dedicated member of science faculty, Ms. Beres has endeavored to teach students with hands on and other engaging strategies each day that she comes to work. She also serves as advisor to our Science Club which maintains one of the largest followings of our co-curricular activities. Thank you for all that you do Ms. Beres!

Congratulations to Mr. Ronald Damiano for being honored as the MRHS Educational Specialist of the Year for 2019-2020! Mr. Damiano has been a dedicated paraprofessional at MRHS for many years and is always willing to serve the communities that make up our Manchester Family. Thank you for all that you do Mr. Damiano!

Congratulations to Mr. Nicholas Crouch for being honored as Educator of the Month for December, 2019. Mr. Crouch is a member of our Social Studies department and loves working with students, parents, and other educators. He has taken initiative as a teacher leader supporting his colleagues in professional learning communities as well as advancing the MRHS Mission on a daily basis. Mr Crouch can always be counted on to lend a helping hand to others. Thank you Mr. Crouch for all that you do.

The 14th Annual Passaic County Teen Life Conference was held at William
Paterson University on December 13, 2019. This conference is hosted by Planned Parenthood and the Family Life Institute. All students were invited to write an essay answering the following: "What suggestions(s) do you have to make a positive change at your school or with the educational system as a whole?" Of all of the schools invited to attend this conference in Passaic County, New Jersey, a Manchester Regional High School student won 2nd place in the essay contest. The second place winner is Julio Suncar (MRHS Junior). Congratulations!
