Congratulations to Ms. Bernadette Orsita for being honored as Educator of the Month for March, 2020. Ms. Orsita quickly adjusted to the new rigors of virtual instruction. She took initiative to hold Facetime discussions with fellow World Language department members immediately after school closed to work on instructional plans. Ms. Orsita has also spent extra time contacting families and sharing this information with School Counseling Services and the Child Study Team, often acting as a direct translator. Ms. Orsita has maintained a strong virtual presence with the hopes of being able to help and support students much like she does in the classroom during typical school sessions. Thank you Ms. Orsita for all that you do!

Congratulations to Ms. Adriana DeLuca for being honored as Educator of the Month for February, 2020. Ms. DeLuca is a valued member of our English and Special Education departments. She is committed to the overall success of her students, both academically and emotionally. She has developed an excellent rapport with students that leads to a higher level of engagement in her classroom. Ms. DeLuca implements a variety of instructional strategies and student choice in her lessons to make the content and learning relevant and meaningful. She consistently augments the use of technology and challenges her students to create. Ms. DeLuca is also involved in multiple extra-curricular roles that provide services and support to students. She can always be counted on to lend a hand wherever needed. Thank you Ms. DeLuca for all that you do!
