Good Afternoon, Falcon Family,
MRHS is truly a special place with a special group of educators who make sure that your child has the best experience possible every single day. Their dedication to our school is matched only by their love of their craft. Our teachers are one group of many who make up over 100,000 teachers across the State of New Jersey. All of them do amazing things for our children year in and year out. That said, this year, one of our outstanding teachers has been honored as one of only twenty-one teachers in the State of New Jersey to earn the title of County Teacher of the year. This teacher not only embodies what it means to be an educator in every way but truly loves each and every child that walks through our halls as her own. She is someone you can rely on not just as a professional but as an amazing person who would do anything to help you. She enhances our world language classrooms with her excellent lessons and honors all of our families with her greater school programming such as the annual Multi-Cultural Fair. This pillar of our school, the 2024-2025 Passaic County Teacher of the Year, is Ms. Bernadette Orsita!
We could not be more proud of her and everything that she does for MRHS. Thank you, Ms. Orsita. You have definitely earned the title and we know that you will serve us well as our educational ambassador to our communities, the County of Passaic, and the State of New Jersey during the upcoming school year. It should be noted that Ms. Orsita is the first County Teacher of the Year in the history of Manchester Regional High School. This is no easy task as only 0.021% of New Jersey teachers earn this distinction each year.
