Mr. Chalom has been selected as Manchester’s educator of the month for November. Mr. Chalom currently teaches Honors United States History I, college prep United States History I, Sociology, and Criminal Justice. Mr. Chalom has contributed greatly to the Social Studies Department since joining the faculty a few years ago. Mr. Chalom is also the advisor for the school’s mock trial team. Mr. Chalom continues to make positive contributions both inside and outside of the classroom which has led his students to all around academic success. In November Mr. Chalom set up a guest speaker series regarding the United States role in creating the Atomic Bomb and the Atomic Weapons program. Mr.Chalom entertained multiple speakers both in person and via zoom. Mr. Chalom was also able to rotate multiple classes in to experience this event. Students were each treated to different speakers and stories. They also had the option to write questions down that were answered live by the speakers at the end of each period. Great work Mr. Chalom!
