Mr. Ickles, has been selected as Manchester’s educator of the month for September. Mr. Ickles currently teaches Honors World History and United States History II. Mr. Ickles has contributed greatly to the Social Studies department’s efforts to raise the rigor and engagement of students during the return to in person instruction. Mr. Ickles has been helping his fellow educators learn to use online teaching resources such as Commonlit. Mr. Ickles has risen to the occasion when asked by administration to help out within the school and regularly leads department PLC’s. Mr. Ickles continues to make positive contributions both inside and outside of the classroom which has led his students to academic success.
