Good Afternoon, Falcon Family,
Not only is this week Teacher Appreciation Week, but today is National School Nurse's Day! Today we extend a special thanks and round of applause to school nurses everywhere and our very own Ms. Irique Robinson. Ms. Robinson has served us well both at the building and during this unique time of closure. She has worked tirelessly to support students, families, and the Borough of Haledon by volunteering her time to aid our local Health Department in the fight against COVID-19. School nurses are more than bandaids and ice packs. They are a sense of safety and warmth when we fall ill and skin our knees. They are the words of comfort when our hearts are broken because we are unable to participate in sports or other activities. School Nurses are the protectors of children, staff, and families who need advice and assistance.
Today, we salute you School Nurses... and we offer a very loud round of applause for you, Ms. Robinson! Thank you for all that you do and keep up the great work!
